Historic St. Cyprian's in St. AugustineAll Weddings Welcome

St. Cyprian’s is a welcoming place where people from any and all denominations, faiths and traditions are welcome to celebrate the joyous union of two lives in a beautiful chapel setting. We are happy to provide the venue for you to begin your marriage in your own special way, and we can assist in the arrangements for an appropriate officiant for your wedding ceremony. St. Cyprian's is an active church community in the Episcopal Diocese of Florida and our priest is available for those couples desiring a wedding using the Episcopal Church's Book of Common Prayer.

Our Building

St. Cyprian’s is an historic wooden church built in 1900. When you first enter the building, you can feel the joy of the many weddings and celebrations that have taken place over the span of the last century. The architectural style of the building is Carpenter Gothic, characterized by such features as deep gables, pointed arched windows, wooden scrollwork details and often accompanied by board and batten siding and stone buttresses. St. Cyprian’s exhibits many of these details and you can see the craftsmanship that was put into its construction. The interior paneling is aged to a rich walnut tone. The arched windows and high peaked ceiling give the sanctuary an open feel. Behind the altar is a stained glass window in shades of red, blue, green and purple, that beautifully complements the space for your ceremony. The church was renovated in 2001 and has many modern amenities including heat and air conditioning, adjustable lighting, audio speakers, and a ramp for handicap accessibility. The sanctuary comfortably seats approximately 100 guests.
